About This Role

This role involves overseeing the maintenance, grounds, security, and mechanical assets of a senior living community, ensuring high standards of operation and compliance. You will also manage housekeeping, laundry, and transportation services.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the maintenance of the buildings, grounds, security, and mechanical assets of the Community
  • Responsible for the execution of all housekeeping, laundry, and transportation services throughout the community in accordance with established guidelines
  • Responsible for the total operation and maintenance of the campus
  • Supervise the maintenance of Community buildings to high standards of construction
  • Develop vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for maintenance services when appropriate
  • Conduct inspections on apartments prior to occupancy
  • Receive after-hours calls for maintenance emergencies
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program and work order system
  • Plan, organize, develop, and lead the overall housekeeping/laundry operations in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Review monthly financial statements and implement plans of action for deficiencies
  • Process and submit monthly expenses and budget data timely
  • Complete team member staffing and scheduling according to operational and budgetary guidelines
  • Ensure transportation vehicles are maintained in good working condition and regularly inspected for safety and cleanliness
  • Oversee that all passengers are safely driven from community area to destination according to schedule

Requirements

  • Four years maintenance supervision experience
  • HVAC experience or training
  • Working knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, plumbing and related repair
  • Experience with electrical systems, phone systems, fire panels, emergency response systems and disaster preparedness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Bachelors/Technical degree in related field
  • Four years maintenance supervision experience
