Care Giver

About This Role

Provide hands-on care and physical and emotional support to senior residents within a comfortable, home-like environment, promoting their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents' rooms and work areas
• Help residents maintain independence
• Promote dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participate and assist residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating)
• Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management, and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED

Nice to Have

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification
• Previous experience working with seniors
