Provide compassionate, personalized care and assistance to clients during the 2 PM to 10 PM shift. Ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being by assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, and maintaining a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist clients with mobility and transferring between different locations, ensuring their safety at all times
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, adhering to dietary restrictions as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records of medication schedules and client health information
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health status to the appropriate supervisor or family members
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to develop and implement individualized care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or similar roles is highly desirable.
Nice to Have
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
- Previous experience in caregiving or similar roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and medication administration
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to assist clients and perform household tasks
- Availability to work full-time hours from 2 PM to 10 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed
