Join a team responsible for Tines' overall front-end experience, building complete product features, tooling, and libraries. This role offers an influential voice in shaping technical direction, product, and culture within a supportive and collaborative engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with colleagues to build solutions for customer problems
• Make valuable changes in the codebase and see them live within minutes
• Write and review high quality, well tested code to ensure a stable product and stress-free codebase
• Identify areas for improvement in the codebase and team workflow
• Own problems and the software written to solve them from production to customer feedback
• Shape and evolve the design system, focusing on building robust, performant, and reliable high-quality components
• Mentor other engineers, providing support and guidance for growth
• Help prioritise the roadmap, identifying pragmatic and effective use of time

Requirements

• Capable with a high-level programming language
• Comfortable working with JSON input for command-line programs
• Curiosity and an eagerness to learn
• Comfortable pitching in across backend and infrastructure during a broad role
• Focus on solving important problems using simple, common tools
• Ability to work sustainably and plan workloads realistically
