As a Senior Product Manager, you will significantly impact growth initiatives within Individual Retirement Strategies by optimizing profitability across a diverse portfolio of Growth solutions. You will analyze key business metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive insights, enhance enterprise value, and maintain competitive positioning.
Responsibilities
- Monitor emerging business results, market insights, and changes in economic and regulatory environments
- Partner with Pricing to understand product pricing inputs and assumptions impacting product economics
- Collaborate across the business system to manage P&L aspects, maximizing value generation while managing risk
- Maintain awareness of competitor rates and relative positioning of products in the Growth portfolio
- Manage relationships with stakeholders on the Future Growth Initiatives team for insights and feedback
- Support RFP/RFI responses and development of materials for Future Growth pipeline opportunities
- Partner with Product Development to evaluate innovation initiatives and define the Growth Initiatives product roadmap
- Execute the Growth Initiatives product roadmap through collaboration with Product Development, Support, and Implementation teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in annuities, insurance, or retirement solutions
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Strong analytical skills
- Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to partner with diverse functions and levels
- Exceptional verbal and written communication/presentation skills
- Intellectual curiosity and a self-motivated approach to work
- Highly organized and adept at handling changing priorities
- Skilled at conflict resolution and effective negotiation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in annuities, insurance, or retirement solutions
Nice to Have
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 license
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
