About This Role

This role involves designing and implementing data-driven lifecycle and retention marketing programs to boost customer engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value. The manager will strategize, execute, and optimize segmented email, SMS, and web-layer campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy to drive engagement, increase customer LTV, and strengthen brand loyalty
  • Manage and optimize email, SMS, and web-layer campaigns, including copywriting, segmentation, automation workflows, and A/B testing
  • Take ownership of ongoing campaigns and automation workflows, ensuring seamless execution with zero downtime
  • Utilize customer insights and audience segmentation to deliver dynamic, personalized marketing communications
  • Monitor and optimize key performance metrics such as deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversion
  • Ensure all marketing communications comply with regulations, data privacy policies, and industry best practices
  • Explore and implement emerging marketing technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness and maintain a competitive edge

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of experience in digital, email, and SMS marketing
  • Proficiency with Maestro (CDP/ESP) or similar CRM campaign management tools
  • Proven ability to collaborate with product and merchandising teams to create brand-relevant initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance and implement data-driven optimizations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-oriented mindset with ownership, accountability, and a “can-do” attitude

Qualifications

  • 4-6+ years of experience in digital, email, and SMS marketing, preferably in DTC, retail, or sports industries

Nice to Have

  • Experience in DTC, retail, or sports industries
  • Passion for the sport of pickleball or enthusiasm to engage with the community
