Senior PCIe QA Engineer

About This Role

This role is for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join a high-performing software team focused on testing advanced PCIe switch technologies. This position involves hardware validation across diverse configurations and use cases, contributing to the development of next-generation connectivity solutions for a leading semiconductor engineering company.

Responsibilities

• Design and review test scenarios, cases, and automation scripts
• Validate system-level PCIe switch functionality, performance, and compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust testing coverage
• Analyze design and functional specifications to develop comprehensive test strategies
• Review user documentation for accuracy and clarity
• Manage multiple concurrent tasks and release cycles

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering + 5yrs or Master's + 3yrs experience with QA/Testing, Validation or Verification for products in the semiconductor engineering/manufacturing industry
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication abilities and a proactive mindset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or Master's degree
• 5+ years experience in QA/Testing, Validation or Verification for products in the semiconductor engineering/manufacturing industry with a Bachelor's, or 3+ years with a Master's

Nice to Have

• Experience with PCIe features (Config Space, Link Training, ACS, Hotplug, Virtualization, P2P, BMC interaction, AER/DPC, Backplanes)
• Experience with PCIe test equipment (analyzers, jammers, load generators)
• Strong grasp of PCIe protocols and PCIe-based system architecture
• Proficiency in Python for automation and system-level scripting
• Familiarity with GPUs (AMD/NVIDIA) and storage tools (NVMe)
• Knowledge of networking protocols (L2/L3, RoCE)
• Exposure to deep learning models (NLP, LLMs, recommendation systems, image classification)
