This Senior Data Architect role involves shaping the Enterprise Data and Business Intelligence strategy for a partner company, optimizing their data ecosystem, and designing scalable data solutions. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate architectural insights into actionable strategies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineers and Architects to define the enterprise data architecture roadmap
- Drive the design and optimization of OLTP and OLAP models for scalability and performance
- Establish standards for data modeling, storage, and integration across systems
- Partner with stakeholders in developing a comprehensive data and BI strategy
- Define data governance practices and quality standards
- Lead proof-of-concepts for new data technologies
- Own the architectural review process for data-related projects
- Establish best practices for ORM usage and SQL optimization
- Evaluate AI/ML to enhance data-driven decision-making
- Stay updated with modern data engineering trends and big data platforms
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in architecting Enterprise Data and BI solutions
- Proven experience in designing large-scale data warehouse implementations
- Ability to architect high-performance solutions for analytical workloads
- Expertise in modern data architectures and dimensional modeling patterns
- Proficiency in cloud data platforms and integration with diverse data sources
- Deep understanding of visualization and reporting platforms
- Ability to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Experience with ORM technologies and building robust ETL/ELT pipelines
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in architecting Enterprise Data and BI solutions
