About This Role

As a Senior Account Executive at Shoplift, you will drive revenue growth by closing strategic deals with the largest Shopify brands. This role involves significant ownership beyond just quota attainment, including mentoring junior sales team members and contributing to sales strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a pipeline of strategic opportunities with the largest Shopify brands.
  • Navigate complex, multi-threaded sales cycles involving various stakeholders from marketing to C-suite.
  • Build compelling business cases focused on ROI for executive buyers.
  • Negotiate multi-year contracts and custom pricing structures.
  • Orchestrate deals involving tech partners and agency partners.
  • Manage and expand relationships with Shopify Plus and larger mid-market merchants.
  • Drive expansion through upsells and plan upgrades in existing accounts.
  • Conduct executive-level QBRs to demonstrate Shoplift's impact on business outcomes.
  • Mentor newer Account Executives through call shadowing, feedback, and training.
  • Contribute to the sales playbook, training materials, and test new messaging and demo approaches.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales with consistent track record of top 5% performance
  • Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving C-level buyers, technical evaluators, and agency/partner ecosystems
  • Deep ecommerce knowledge, having sold to ecommerce brands or worked in the ecosystem
  • Leadership presence for guiding customers, partners, and team members
  • Consultative mastery to uncover unstated customer problems during discovery calls
  • Coaching ability to mentor and provide actionable feedback to other reps
  • Flexibility for approximately 10% travel for customer meetings, conferences, and team events

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales with consistent top 5% performance and experience with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

Nice to Have

  • Experience closing Shopify Plus brands or high-GMV merchants
  • Background selling CRO, personalization, or marketing tools
  • Relationships with ecommerce agencies or ecosystem partners
  • Track record of mentoring or managing junior reps
