Selling Flex Associate

About This Role

The Selling Flex Associate provides excellent customer service by building relationships, assisting with merchandise selection, and processing transactions to drive sales and meet store objectives. This role maintains merchandise presentations and promotes a friendly store environment to build customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities
• Greet, engage, and assist customers warmly, creating a welcoming environment and providing personalized service
• Apply suggestive selling techniques and offer product recommendations to meet customer needs and drive sales
• Build genuine relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling inquiries, returns, and concerns professionally
• Maintain visually appealing selling areas, merchandise presentation standards, accurate signage, fitting rooms, and cleanliness
• Leverage training tools, resources, and feedback to continuously boost product knowledge, selling skills, and performance
• Support store operations by assisting with store fulfillment, pricing, promotional sets, product placement, and other tasks
• Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to minimize risk

• Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to store success
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable with technology, including smart phones, tablet computers and Windows-based operating systems
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs
