About This Role

This Key Holder Associate role drives store sales and metrics by supporting the leadership team with store opening and closing coverage. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring store procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

  • Open and/or close the store, ensuring proper procedures and policies are followed
  • Cover open Customer Service Lead (CSL) shifts, focusing on associate celebrations and modeling service behaviors
  • Drive customer service during assigned periods
  • Approve select point of sale transactions such as returns and voids to serve customers
  • Resolve customer service issues as needed
  • Engage in promoting and selling products to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure registers are properly opened and closed, doors are opened and locked, and alarms are set correctly
  • Support the store manager with daily operations
  • Communicate results from CSL walks with store leadership
  • Remain current on all company policies and ensure all standards and procedures are maintained and followed consistently

Requirements

  • Must participate in Service Excellence leadership training
  • Must be 18 or a rising senior in high school
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (including mornings, evenings, & weekends)
  • Ability to close store one to two nights per week

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in retail preferred
