About This Role

Guard, patrol, and monitor the venue's premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions, ensuring guest and employee safety at a top concert venue. This role involves circulating among guests, monitoring access, and protecting property.

Responsibilities

• Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
• Escort or drive motor vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas
• Participate in the venue’s sustainability program, including sorting waste and collecting recycling
• Partner with fellow band members at the end of the show to close the venue, including collecting recyclables and storing event equipment
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises
• Responsible for entering availability 3 weeks in advance through the ABIMM system and communicating changes to the supervisor

Requirements

• Ages 18 and up
• Ability to successfully complete a background check
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in all types of weather
• Ability to commit to at least 50 percent of shows

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Entry level

• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures
