Internship at The Brooklyn Paramount

About This Role

This internship offers students interested in the live entertainment industry diverse experiences in various concert venue departments at The Brooklyn Paramount, including operations, marketing, ticketing, and fan services.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, scan tickets, and assist with seating for operations/security
• Assist with fan communication plans via email, social, website, and app for marketing
• Facilitate night of show Will Call & Guest List Operations for ticketing
• Research concepts for gifts, incentives, and experiences for artist, fan, and employee engagement
• Assist with on-site premium seat programs and client services for premium services
• Assist in the setup and tear down of venue assets for special events
• Research concepts of new beverage and food products, genre-specific planning, and premium experiences for F&B
• Observe a load-in or load-out for a concert event for production
• Prepare merchandise stand displays and assist with inventory
• Participate in the venue’s sustainability program, including waste sorting and educating fans

Requirements

• Interest in exploring behind-the-scenes career paths in the live entertainment industry
• Reliable transportation to concert venues
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, lift and carry 25+ lbs.
