Sales Representative

About This Role

This role involves selling new and used agricultural, compact construction, and turf equipment to both new and existing customers, while maintaining current product knowledge and customer relationships within a defined sales area.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area
• Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all saleable equipment
• Monitor competitive activity/products and timely communicate to management
• Maintain all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
• Know and follow a defined sales process
• Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events
• Conduct new equipment field demonstrations
• Monitor trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicate to management
• Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing purchases
• Attend applicable sales training events/seminars

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience
• Entry level with one-year prior equipment sales experience preferred

Nice to Have

• One- year prior equipment sales experience
• Knowledge of commercial equipment
• Ability to use standard desktop load functions such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
