This role offers an opportunity to build a sales career in logistics and supply chain management through a fast-track program. Responsibilities include solving customer needs, finding carriers for freight, managing daily operations, and developing negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Receive 6 months of direct training from experienced Logistics Account Executives
- Help account executive solve customer needs
- Find carriers for time-sensitive freight
- Manage daily operations
- Participate in hands-on and virtual training sessions
- Develop negotiation skills through prospecting and cold calling
- Build a book of business
- Meet sales metrics to become eligible for commission
- Establish relationships to close new customers
- Negotiate prices with customers and carriers
- Resolve freight issues to ensure timely pickup and delivery
