About This Role

Manage accounts for Alteryx, supporting strategic and enterprise clients by driving day-to-day business, facilitating expansion and renewal opportunities, and contributing to overall account strategies. This role requires independent discretion and judgment in addressing customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage day-to-day administration to resolve customer issues, boost sales momentum for Alteryx, and conduct ongoing business with accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer processes and problems, asking the right questions and bringing unique value to interactions.
  • Form relationships with multiple buying personas within prospect accounts.
  • Connect prospects' business objectives with Alteryx solutions using a customer-centric approach.
  • Establish positive relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and dedication to value.
  • Identify opportunities to increase adoption and expand Alteryx's footprint using data and discovery.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure customers achieve outcomes and are positioned for successful renewals.
  • Own renewals for assigned customers with Annualized Recurring Revenue (ATR) between $100K–$250K.
  • Drive independent expansion opportunities under $50K and establish new Alteryx footholds.
  • Run customer calls, product conversations, and commercial negotiations autonomously to reinforce value and facilitate close.
  • Maintain rigorous Salesforce hygiene.
  • Align tightly with assigned Strategic or Enterprise Account Executives to support account coverage and business operations.
  • Collaborate on broader account strategy and whitespace planning with internal teams.
  • Partner with Sales Engineers, Marketing, Customer Success, Renewals, and Partners to support evaluations and adoption.
  • Navigate deal desk, legal, and discounting guardrails efficiently.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience (Digital AE, RM, SMB/MM AE, ISR)
  • Strong negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and sales engagement tools
  • Competitive, coachable, resilient, and driven by performance in a high-growth GTM environment
