About This Role

This role involves building lasting customer relationships, identifying growth needs, and driving sales revenue for Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in the New Hampshire market. The Sales Consultant will leverage data, present products, and offer solutions to achieve sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust
  • Discover and identify customer business growth needs
  • Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline for incremental sales
  • Analyze data and insights to increase sales and grow customer business
  • Regularly pre-plan account visits with an agenda and selling opportunities documented in CRM (Proof)
  • Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer business growth plan
  • Visit accounts regularly, capture visit notes, and build visit plans in CRM (Proof)
  • Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and correctly present and position them
  • Propose selling solutions and win sales using consultative selling skills
  • Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management
  • Manage customer issue resolution and support business growth
  • Adapt the selling approach based on customer’s buying styles and business needs
  • Stay current with competitor offerings and product positioning

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze and understand data and information
  • Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad®, smartphone) and online communication techniques
  • Ability to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals
  • Ability to consistently achieve results
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tailor messages to the audience
  • Reliable vehicle and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 21 years of age
