This role involves building lasting customer relationships, identifying growth needs, and driving sales revenue for Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in the New Hampshire market. The Sales Consultant will leverage data, present products, and offer solutions to achieve sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust
- Discover and identify customer business growth needs
- Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline for incremental sales
- Analyze data and insights to increase sales and grow customer business
- Regularly pre-plan account visits with an agenda and selling opportunities documented in CRM (Proof)
- Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer business growth plan
- Visit accounts regularly, capture visit notes, and build visit plans in CRM (Proof)
- Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and correctly present and position them
- Propose selling solutions and win sales using consultative selling skills
- Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management
- Manage customer issue resolution and support business growth
- Adapt the selling approach based on customer’s buying styles and business needs
- Stay current with competitor offerings and product positioning
Requirements
- Ability to analyze and understand data and information
- Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad®, smartphone) and online communication techniques
- Ability to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals
- Ability to consistently achieve results
- Ability to communicate effectively and tailor messages to the audience
- Reliable vehicle and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
