This role is a sales-focused, quota-carrying Sales Account Executive responsible for driving revenue growth by managing and expanding customer accounts and targeted prospects. The AE will own the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through close, serving as the primary commercial point of contact for customers.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage a defined book of business and/or assigned target accounts
- Drive new revenue through upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution development, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue, margin, and sales performance targets
- Build and maintain strong, multi-level customer relationships, including executive stakeholders
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for customers throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle
- Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies aligned to Zion’s offerings and customer needs
- Build, maintain, and advance a qualified sales pipeline
- Accurately forecast revenue and provide regular pipeline updates to Sales Leadership
- Support smooth handoffs from sales to execution teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a sales or account executive role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets
- Strong business and financial acumen, including value-based selling and ROI discussions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in a sales or account executive role
