About This Role

Serve as a Registered Nurse specializing in procedures, providing comprehensive patient care based on the nursing process, collaborating with the healthcare team, and coordinating care for patients across all age groups.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients, design, and implement individualized plans of care, evaluating effectiveness and modifying as necessary
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to formulate patient care plans
  • Provide patient and family education to promote compliance and understanding of care
  • Respond to emergency patient situations or disasters following established protocols
  • Oversee patient care delivery, challenging or correcting errors to ensure patient safety
  • Document assessments, nursing interventions, and care provided to all assigned patients
  • Perform technical aspects of patient care according to established policies and procedures
  • Administer medications and IVs with consideration of age-specific needs
  • Perform emergency procedures, such as CPR, and assess patient response

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) or RQIACLS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Acute care facility experience
  • PICC competence (Procedures Nurse Interventional Radiology RN)

Certifications

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification (Required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) or RQIACLS (Required) Dysrhythmia recognition (Interventional Radiology RN) (Required) IV Sedation within 6 months (Interventional Radiology RN) (Required)
