RN Infusion Center Per Diem

About This Role

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an Infusion Center setting, adhering to established nursing standards and ethical guidelines. Coordinate and facilitate healthcare services, collaborating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs using the nursing process and nursing diagnosis
• Develop written plans of care and assist patients/families in setting healthcare goals
• Determine priorities of patient care based on needs and resources
• Provide safe and competent nursing interventions, with information preceding them
• Provide telephone consultation to patients and families
• Evaluate patient response to care and modify care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Demonstrate understanding of physiologic and psychological effects of normal aging for diverse patient populations
• Communicate effectively with specific age populations served and identify personal learning needs
• Collaborate, communicate, and coordinate with other healthcare team members in planning and implementing care
• Assess educational needs, develop educational components for care plans, and provide teaching/counseling
