About This Role

Join a dynamic Emergency Department team at a Level I Trauma Center, providing care for patients with high acuity and utilizing advanced medical resources. This role contributes to a hospital recognized for excellence in nursing and innovative medical training.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with the highest acuity in the region within a busy Emergency Department
• Participate in a team at a chest pain and comprehensive stroke center
• Care for patients across 109 beds and a 19-bed ED Observation Unit
• Utilize advanced resources and state-of-the-art equipment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Connecticut RN license prior to start date
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association prior to date of hire

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN degree required; ASN/ADN RNs with relevant experience may be considered.
• Previous acute care RN experience preferred, however new graduate RNs are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
