Student Nurse Technician

About This Role

The Student Nurse Technician performs delegated functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide patient care services at Hartford Hospital, contributing to patient health, safety, and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated functions as a member of a patient care team
• Provide a variety of services to meet health care, safety and comfort needs of patients
• Perform duties in accordance with all existing regulatory and hospital standards, policies and procedures
• Report to Unit Manager

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Enrollment in an accredited nursing program
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to perform basic mathematics
• Ability to perform physical efforts as specified by Position Physical Requirements and Occupational Health Exposure form

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; Enrollment in an accredited nursing program
