About This Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on the STAR Team Float provides high-quality, patient-centered care in outpatient oncology and infusion settings under the supervision of an RN, APRN, or provider. This role involves performing clinical and administrative tasks, contributing to the nursing process, and ensuring safe, efficient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and administrative tasks within the scope of supportive and restorative care
• Provide health education
• Administer medications
• Collect specimens
• Assist with procedures
• Contribute to all phases of the nursing process
• Ensure safe, efficient care delivery

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the State of Connecticut
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills

Qualifications

• LPN experience in an Acute setting - hospital experience preferred.

Nice to Have

• LPN experience in an Acute setting (hospital preferred)
• EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
