About This Role

Join MidState Medical Center as an Emergency Department RN, providing patient-centered care and utilizing evidence-based practices. Work in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary teams, focusing on the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act
• Adhere to policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff
• Develop a plan of care using the nursing process to meet patient and family needs

Requirements

• Current RN license in state of Connecticut
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume environment
• Self-directed in the management of patient care

Qualifications

• BSN (preferred)

Nice to Have

• Previous Emergency Nursing experience
