About This Role

Join MidState Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in Surgical units, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services and utilizing evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

  • Practice at the top of your license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery
  • Care for patients from birth through the end of life
  • Complete Surgical Nurse Residency

Requirements

  • Current Connecticut RN License within 90 days of hire
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply; one-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred

Nice to Have

  • One-year recent Acute Care RN experience
