Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care (PCU)

About This Role

This role involves providing patient-centered care in a collaborative environment, focusing on complex medical and surgical patients in a Progressive Care Unit. The Registered Nurse will utilize evidence-based practices and the nursing process to develop comprehensive plans of care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital
• Develop a plan of care using the nursing process
• Meet the physical, emotional spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family
• Work in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams
• Provide care for complex medical and surgical patients whose needs are not serious enough for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) but are too complex for a regular hospital floor

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ASN/BSN

Qualifications

• ASN/BSN
• New graduates are welcome to work under supervision per State guidelines
