Registered Nurse (RN) Family Birthing Center

About This Role

Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Family Birthing Center, utilizing the nursing process to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies and procedures, and medical staff directives
• Utilize the nursing process to develop a plan of care
• Meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family
• Incorporate the needs and behaviors of the patient's age group in planning and providing care

Requirements

• Current RN license in state of Connecticut
• Previous RN experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume environment
• Self-directed in the management of patient care

Qualifications

• BSN (preferred)
• Must have previous RN experience
