Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Family Birthing Center, utilizing the nursing process to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies and procedures, and medical staff directives
- Utilize the nursing process to develop a plan of care
- Meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family
- Incorporate the needs and behaviors of the patient's age group in planning and providing care
Requirements
- Current RN license in state of Connecticut
- Previous RN experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume environment
- Self-directed in the management of patient care
Qualifications
- BSN (preferred)
- Must have previous RN experience
