About This Role

Dartmouth Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Academic Rheumatologist to provide exceptional patient care, engage in medical education, and participate in cutting-edge research. This role involves expanding rheumatology services, training future physicians, and advancing the field through scholarly activities within a collaborative academic medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care
• Engage in medical education
• Participate in cutting-edge research in a collaborative academic medical environment
• Play a key role in expanding rheumatology services
• Train future physicians
• Advance the field through scholarly activities
• Work Monday-Friday, 8-5 with 8 hours of protected admin time
• Handle occasional inpatient consults
• Conduct work mostly in an outpatient setting

Requirements

• BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology by the ABMS or AOA
• Ability to obtain/maintain NH & VT medical licenses and DEA license
• Focus on patient-centered care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Dedication to lifelong learning and professional development
