The University of Bristol's Medical School is seeking an experienced researcher to develop, lead, and support research into inclusive research and healthcare practices within the Medical School and the BNSSG Integrated Care Board. This role involves conducting independent research, securing external funding, and contributing to the training and mentorship of junior researchers.
Responsibilities
- Carry out, develop, and support research into inclusive research and healthcare practice
- Provide academic leadership within the Medical School and BNSSG Integrated Care Board (ICB)
- Generate research outputs and secure external grant income
- Support and develop inclusive research and healthcare practice across BMS and BNSSG
- Contribute to the training and support of others, and supervise more junior researchers
- Contribute to the wider School research environment through line managing and mentoring colleagues and attending meetings
- Be involved in the education of undergraduates and postgraduates
- Support the BNSSG ICB in delivering its research strategy and approach to inclusive research practice
