Retail Sales - Kids' Apparel & Shoes

About This Role

Achieve sales goals and build lasting customer relationships by providing excellent service and fashion expertise within the Kids' Apparel & Shoes department. This role involves both in-store and digital selling, contributing to a customer-ready department.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling using selling tools like text and social media
• Build lasting relationships with customers
• Provide excellent service to customers, catering to their preferences
• Offer honest and confident feedback to customers regarding style and fit
• Continuously seek fashion and product knowledge to enhance expertise
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a customer-ready department by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, completing price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Grow customer relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts
• Be flexible to occasionally perform duties in departments other than the one hired into

• Physical ability for continuous movement (6-8 hours per shift including bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching)
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
• Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting above the head
• Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
