Retail Customer Service Associate

About This Role

This role primarily focuses on providing an outstanding customer experience for all customers within a retail environment. The associate will utilize consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions related to printing, signs & graphics, and shipping services.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
• Assist in the training of store team members
• Demonstrate consultative behaviors to understand individualized customer needs
• Provide customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines
• Ensure all customer problems are resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer
• Take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
• Operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment including printing and binding equipment
• Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change
• Manage the production queue and output, stock materials, and manage complex projects
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail Store

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 6+ months of specialized experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
