Retail Customer Service Associate

Deliver a positive customer experience by anticipating needs, suggesting alternatives, and providing solutions in a retail environment. This role involves comprehensive knowledge of print, signs & graphics, and shipping services, alongside operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive customer experience, anticipating needs and providing solutions
• Provide expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines
• Process customer orders and provide accurate pricing information
• Operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment including printing and binding machines
• Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping
• Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal, including handling cash
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail Store
• Stock materials and manage the production queue and retail supply
• Ensures confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents and packages
• Assist in the training of store team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 6+ months of specialized experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
• Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
• Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members on a consistent basis
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure on a consistent basis
• Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time on a consistent basis
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on a consistent basis

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 6+ months of specialized experience
