Restaurant Shift Leader

About This Role

The Restaurant Shift Leader at Zaxby's is responsible for overseeing daily shift operations, guiding team members, and ensuring a high-quality guest experience, while upholding company standards for service, product, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Complete all required training, including the Zaxby's Shift Leader Development Plan and Food Safety Certification.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture by training and coaching team members to meet company standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members, communicating performance concerns to the General Manager.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience, resolving complaints in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Create and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example.
• Communicate shift goals and motivate team members to achieve their highest performance.
• Delegate tasks to team members and supervise their performance during a shift.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all Zaxby's guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld.
• Receive and reconcile truck deliveries, stock products, and complete daily inventory counts.
• Manage food production and quality, monitoring processes and taking corrective action as needed.
• Track food safety and quality throughout the shift, ensuring accurate orders and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have reliable transportation
• Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Successful completion of background check
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
