Restaurant Assistant Manager

About This Role

The Assistant Manager at Zaxby's is responsible for ensuring excellent guest experiences and maintaining operational standards. This role involves managing daily restaurant operations, training team members, and upholding company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring proper adherence to processes, policies, and procedures.
• Train and coach team members, providing ongoing development and feedback.
• Create and delegate effective work schedules and shift assignments.
• Supervise and lead team members to achieve high performance and quarterly goals.
• Ensure consistent uphold of service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Handle and report guest and team member complaints, concerns, and injuries timely and respectfully.
• Maintain compliance with all Zaxby’s Franchising LLC guidelines, policies, and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws.
• Utilize management tools and maintain neat, accurate, and current records.
• Assist with performance reviews and mentor team members to foster a positive culture.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Open availability, ability to work 5 days and 32-48 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Successful completion of background check
• 1-3 years management experience
• Leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others

Qualifications

• 1-3 years management experience, preferably in restaurant management.

Nice to Have

• Restaurant management experience preferred
