Restaurant Assistant Manager

About This Role

The Restaurant Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in supervising staff and managing processes to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. This role focuses on enhancing sales, driving customer satisfaction, and maintaining facility standards within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through proper facilities and equipment maintenance and adherence to food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations.
• Understand financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements, and implement changes to capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager in talent acquisition efforts.

Requirements

• 1+ years restaurant management experience
• 1+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+million
• 1+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements
• 1+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• 1+ years restaurant management experience, 1+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+million, 1+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements, and 1+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
