Cashier

About This Role

As a Zaxby's Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering excellent service, taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role involves consistently creating positive experiences for customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements, including Zaxby's University and hands-on stations training
• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests
• Promptly greet guests as they enter and thank them as they leave
• Maintain awareness of current promotions and explain menu items
• Accurately complete orders and guest transactions into point of sale systems
• Accept payments, operate cash registers, and expedite all digital orders
• Handle cash payments, count and verify tills, and record totals appropriately
• Clean and maintain guest areas including dining room, counters, and bathrooms
• Stock paper goods, condiments, utensils, and beverages
• Prepare menu items according to company standards in a safe and sanitary manner
• Accurately complete, package, and present guest orders
