About This Role

As a General Manager at Zaxby's, you will lead and guide your team to cultivate a positive work environment, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and manage daily restaurant operations to achieve sales and profitability goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and leadership to create a positive culture and maintain high team morale
  • Execute and assist in the development of action plans according to company goals and objectives
  • Manage and oversee daily restaurant operations, focusing on staffing, team member development, sales growth, and cost management
  • Ensure consistent guest experience and uphold brand standards
  • Source, interview, hire, retain, and recognize top performers to maintain appropriate staffing levels
  • Ensure team members receive proper training, ongoing mentoring, coaching, and development
  • Create and maintain effective work schedules to drive sales and control labor costs
  • Plan and delegate shift assignments, communicating expectations and adjusting as needed
  • Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld
  • Manage profitability by driving sales, controlling costs, and developing team members
  • Increase sales by building community relationships and providing outstanding product and service
  • Control costs and losses, ensuring compliance with all company guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Complete performance reviews for crew members and assist with performance reviews for managers
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws, guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Review performance metrics daily and develop action plans to improve profitability, sales, and guest experience

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Open availability and the ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Successful completion of background check and motor vehicle report
  • Possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
  • 3-5 years management experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and some college preferred
  • 3-5 years management experience required, restaurant management experience preferred

Nice to Have

  • Restaurant management experience preferred
