Research Project Manager

About This Role

Manage research projects of low to medium complexity, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to the documentation and dissemination of research activities. This role involves coordinating with other project managers and principal investigators, monitoring resources and budgets, and executing data gathering activities for research studies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager for research projects of low to medium complexity
• Collaborate on the development, preparation, and timely submission of research proposals
• Monitor and manage resources and budgets for research projects
• Manage the execution of research studies, including data gathering activities
• Ensure compliance with local, federal, and industry requirements, as well as grant/contract and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement basic research protocols
• Draft study materials and Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications
• Identify training needs and assist in creating training materials for new team members and clinical staff
• Prepare qualitative and/or quantitative data for analysis
• Contribute to the documentation, reporting, and dissemination of research study activities

Requirements

• Ability to apply up-to-date expertise in subject area to generate creative solutions
• Understanding of data and resources to support projects or initiatives
• Experience managing projects of small-to-medium size, or components of a larger project
• Knowledge of project financials and performance monitoring
• Experience with organizational change management activities for projects
• Ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Skills in stakeholder management and communication
