Remote IT Project Manager

About This Role

Oversee a portfolio of IT projects for the distribution transformer industry, ensuring alignment with business strategy and enhanced operational performance. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, stakeholder engagement, and driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects to ensure cohesive delivery aligned with organizational goals
• Manage program governance, reporting, and performance metrics
• Lead program planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Identify dependencies and manage risks across projects
• Engage senior stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
• Drive continuous improvement and implement industry standards
• Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the PMO and IT department
• Ensure 100% adherence to all IT and organizational policies and procedures
• Demonstrate a commitment to customer service, addressing issues promptly

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in project and program management
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
• Strong communication skills with diverse audiences
• Ability to collaborate across functions, building trust among team members
• Demonstrated customer service mindset with a problem-solving approach
• Ownership of project outcomes and commitments
• Capable of solving complex problems with structured thinking
• Adaptability to change and management of competing priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience in project and program management
