About This Role

Provide direct patient care to neurology and neurosurgery patients with various complex diagnoses in a 48-bed unit within the new D. Dan and Betty Kahn Health Care Pavilion. This role involves nursing specific duties and contributes to Michigan Medicine's mission of excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to neurology and neurosurgery patients with diagnoses such as brain and spinal cord tumors, epilepsy, stroke, cerebral aneurysm, neuropathy, Myasthenia Gravis, head and spinal cord trauma

Requirements

  • Current Michigan RN license (or successful NCLEX pass within 45 days for Graduate Nurses)

Nice to Have

  • 3-5 years neuro experience
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • BSN
