Registered Nurse RN

About This Role

This Registered Nurse (RN) position in Memory Care is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of residents, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing compassionate care within Ecumen's senior living communities in St Peter, MN.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments for new residents and implement service agreements at move-in
• Maintain up-to-date medical records and care plans; ensure timely assessments and proper documentation
• Ensure physician orders are signed and carried out within 24 hours
• Oversee medication administration and medical equipment use; communicate with physicians as needed
• Assist with training new staff on health and medication procedures and provide ongoing education; document all training for compliance

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state in which working and must maintain licensure
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
