About This Role

Deliver direct, individualized patient care to women and children in Labor and Delivery, applying scientific nursing processes and principles. Collaborate with patients, families, and other professionals to ensure effective care delivery and desired patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, individualized care to women and children
• Apply scientific nursing process and principles
• Collaborate with the patient, their families and other professional disciplines to ensure effective delivery of patient care
• Participate in committee activities, surveys, and improvement initiatives
• Uphold the standards of the Texas Nurse Practice Act

Requirements

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD)
• Registered Nurse license
• CPR-BCLS certification
• NRP certification within 6 months
• ACLS certification within 6 months
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required
