Administer skilled nursing care to patients at home while working under the direction of a physician. This role focuses on establishing effective working relationships with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
Responsibilities
- Administer skilled nursing care to patients at home in accordance with physician's orders
- Establish effective, timely working relations with patients, families, staff and physicians
- Apply the nursing process to develop an individualized patient plan of care
- Establish peripheral intravenous lines and administer intravenous therapies
Requirements
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 1 year of experience as a circulator
- Current BLS card
- Basic computer knowledge and abilities
- Ability to apply the nursing process
- Demonstrable skills in the establishment of peripheral intravenous lines
- Demonstrable skills in the administration of intravenous therapies
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as a circulator
