This Registered Nurse role involves providing direct clinical patient care, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating care for assigned patients. The RN ensures high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing care while supporting competency of clinical staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical patient care
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift and unit level
- Assume responsibility for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated
- Support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care and competency of clinical staff
- Ensure appropriate resource management related to patient care
- Assume responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process
- Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control
- Administer all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy
- Perform and fulfill all HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities
- Know the Hospital's emergency codes, purpose, and appropriate action for each, and adhere to policies and procedures
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law
- AHA BLS certification
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
