About This Role

This Registered Nurse role involves conducting assessments, implementing healthcare plans, and monitoring patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them live better lives. This position also requires providing technical assistance, medical oversight, and training to staff members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, implement health care plans, and monitor patients’ conditions
• Collaborate with teams of physicians and external medical centers partners
• Leverage clinical skills to provide technical assistance, medical oversight, and training of staff
• Use critical thinking and clinical judgment to meet patients’ biological, physical, and behavioral needs

Requirements

• Accredited RN degree
• Current state RN license
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• One year of experience
• Clinical assessment skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Communication skills
• Teamwork skills
• Creative problem solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
