About This Role

This Registered Nurse role involves assessing and admitting patients, performing rounding checks, administering medications, and ensuring the overall care of patients in the Admit/Discharge Unit at Sentara Leigh Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and admit patients
  • Perform rounding checks
  • Give medications
  • Communicate with family members regarding patient care
  • Be responsible for the overall care of patients

Requirements

  • Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN from an accredited school

Qualifications

  • RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN from an accredited school
  • New grads welcome
