Registered Nurse (RN) - Urogynecology

About This Role

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in urogynecology and urology clinical settings, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient health responses.

Responsibilities

• Provide office-based nursing care in collaboration with a provider
• Assess physical and psychosocial needs and environmental factors affecting patients and their families
• Formulate nursing plan of care and ensure continuity of patient care through appropriate nursing evaluation and intervention
• Demonstrate independent nursing actions based on assessment and problem identification
• Triage telephone calls and initiate appropriate nursing intervention promptly and professionally
• Assist patients and family members with concern and empathy, respecting confidentiality and privacy
• Cross-cover Urology in the Fairfield area as needed

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN License

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; previous experience in Medical/Surgical Office setting preferred.
