About This Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) uses critical thinking skills to coordinate and provide safe, quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process. This role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, assisting with organizing activities as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide safe quality care to patients
  • Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Assist with organizing patient care activities

Requirements

  • Graduate of Registered Nurse Program
  • REGISTERED NURSE License
  • BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) Certification
  • ACLS (AHA) Certification (within 90 days for inexperienced RNs)
  • NIH Stroke Certification (within 60 days of hire or transfer)
  • PALS Certification (within 90 days of hire or transfer)
  • Basic EKG (within 6 months for inexperienced RNs)
  • Critical Care Course (within 6 months for inexperienced RNs)
  • Trauma Course (within 6 months for inexperienced RNs)
  • TNCC (within 18 months of hire or transfer)
