This role involves acting as a unit-based Clinical Pharmacist, verifying orders, and providing clinical services for assigned areas, while also serving as a drug information resource for healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
Responsibilities
- Verify medication orders
- Provide clinical services for assigned areas
- Act as a drug information resource for nurses, physicians, patients, and families
- Fulfill staff pharmacist responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy
- Pharmacy practice residency or equivalent hospital experience (3 postgraduate years)
- Current registered pharmacist license in the State of Florida
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy required, Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree preferred
- 3+ years of hospital experience or completion of a pharmacy practice residency
Nice to Have
- Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree
