This Registered Nurse (RN) position at Sinai-Grace Hospital provides direct patient care for a group of patients in a Step Down unit. The RN is responsible for collaborating with healthcare providers, delegating tasks, and preparing patients for discharge.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers
- Delegate, assess, provide and evaluate patient care
- Provide and delegate patient care activities to team members
- Monitor patient progress and prepare patient for discharge
- Report directly to senior unit management and participate in shared decision-making activities
Requirements
- Graduation from a school of nursing
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS
Qualifications
- Graduation from a school of nursing
